My journey into the world of specialty coffee didn’t begin in a sleek, metropolitan espresso bar. It began in a dusty camping chair with a dented French press and a view of the Joshua Trees. I realized that the landscape of the High Desert—rugged, unforgiving, yet breathtakingly beautiful—mirrored the complexity of a perfect cup of coffee. Both require patience, the right conditions, and a deep respect for the elements.

Sandra’s Coffee Corner was born out of a desire to bridge the gap between the professional barista’s science and the adventurer’s lifestyle.
